Trusting God

In this next to last chapter, Beth presented a simple yet power thought.  If we are ever going to win this battle with insecurity, we MUST trust God.  No matter if the situation is good or bad…  No matter if the fear is real or made up… No matter if our life is about to change or we just think it is… No matter if the situation turns out the way we want or not…  We need to trust God with no strings attached.

Psalm 112:7-8 [She] will have no fear of bad news; [her] heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.  [Her] heart is secure, [she] will have no fear; in the end [she] will look in triumph on [her] foes.  (Beth added “she” instead of “he” for emphasis)

Doesn’t that sound good?  No fear of bad news.  Trusting in the Lord.  No fear.  Triumph on her foes.  This “secure” woman sounds more appealing day after day.
